Horchata- Oat Milk
Ingredients
2 cups of long grain rice
4-5 cups of water
½ cup of white sugar
2 cinnamon stick
2- cups of oat milk
1 cup of sweetened condensed oat milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
(Oat milk can easily be substituted with coconut milk/coconut condensed milk and still taste great)
Instructions
Combine 2 cups of rice with 4 cups of water (remember to clean rice first)
Add 2 cinnamon sticks
Add ½ cup sugar
Leave overnight (24 hours is ideal) in fridge
Put in blender with oat milk
Blend all contents to a smooth consistency
Strain contents into bowl or container
Add a cup of condensed oat milk
Add ½ tablespoon of vanilla extract
Add more water as needed
Stir together
Serve over ice cold or heat up
